Requirements: • A high school diploma or equivalent. Some positions may require a bachelor's degree or coursework in library science. • Previous experience in a library setting or customer service role can be beneficial. • Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with patrons of all ages and backgrounds. • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to manage a large volume of materials and information. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Comfortable with using computer systems and databases, with the ability to learn new software as required. • Must be able to lift and move materials weighing up to 20 pounds, and to reach, bend, and stoop to shelve materials.
